Dragon Age Origins no longer works as of April 2023 [no spoilers] ※UPDATE: I have found and solved the problem (s). It has something to do with the new Windows 11 default system configurations, which renders the game unplayable. This will further complicate the DA:O installation procedures for everyone on Windows 11.

The DLC for that game have always been wonky. I remember when I installed awakening/DLC titles, it involved doing a hard drive swap, creating a origins account, and a lot of other stupid human tricks. It took about a week until I had all of the logins in order and the additional hardware required. And in the end, two of the DLC assets did not
Edit: sorry, i misread opening post. Well, if you know how dlc should look like and there is still no dlc in game i can only assume you didn't activate them properly for some reason. Since Blood Dragon and party gifts are in game after all
There were some discussions recently about the price of the DLC etc. for Origins. The Ultimate Edition, which includes all the DLC and promotional items, Awakenings, etc., is on sale on GoG and on Steam for $4.99. I always recommend getting it on GoG since it's DRM free, but it's a great deal either way. 69.
Like it's been said, Awakening is the #1 essential DLC, followed by Witch Hunt. Golems of Amgarrak shows what happens to a particular mage in DA2 but ultimately doesn't affect the story. In Dragon Age 2, however, you'll really want to get the Legacy DLC. It's the entire reason for the Inquisition.

Mark of the Assassin is more for fun, and related to the Redemption web series. Legacy is important to DAI and can make part of DAI a bit confusing if you haven't done it. For DAI DLC: Jaws of Hakkon is fun and good for extra lore. The Descent has Dwarven lore and seems like it could be relevant to future games.
Hello, i've just bought Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition on steam, and i just found out that the game does not have the promotional items. I have the original DAO plus the awakening dlc, but no dlcs for the DAO, i've tried to get the promotional items, and even registering my game, but all the urls are not working or have being deactivated, how do i get them? i have the original DAO also on

Personally, I think it all depends on what you feel suits your story best. For me, my canon order was: Human Noble > Ostagar > Lothering > Brecilian Forest > Redcliffe > Circle of Magi > Return to Redcliffe > Return to Ostagar > Honnleath > Orzammar > Denerim > Soldier's Peak > Denerim > Haven > Redcliffe AGAIN > Arl Howe's Estate > Denerim
On the DA wiki there's a little guide to the order of the main quests (since much of the game is freeform), based on how the enemy levels are hardcoded. I've added where the mission-DLC goes storyline-wise, based on how I played it (as there's no real order). The campaign DLC however, takes place after the main game. Ostagar and Korcari Wilds
